Thank You David Wood!

David has been involved with CRYSA in many capacities over the past 38 years.  He held positions such as President, Registrar and Administrator. 

David also dedicated his time to refereeing, being a referee assessor, teaching referee and coaches clinics, lining fields, coordinating sponshorhip and taking on risk management.  He was the initiator of the Field User Committee and proudly helped our club to host such tournaments as the BC Soccer Championship, the Vancouver Island Championships and several Mini World Cups.

His achievements with youth soccer include being awarded the BC Soccer Certificate of Merit twice, the Canadian Governer General Award celebrating the Queen's Golden Julibee, the Investors Group Community Sports Administrator award, the Herb Hall Memorial Trophy twice, and most recently the BC Soccer Administrator of the Year award.

David's dedication over the last 38 years has been extraordinary.  He made himself available 365 days a year - even when on vacation!

Thank you David for your years of hard work and organization.

Tobacco Use and Enforcement Laws

As of September 1st, 2007 no one is permitted to smoke or use tobacco on any school fields. If you are caught there will be fines levied.  Please ensure that you police your parents and advise them of this law.
